Workshop ~ Bulb Photography

 Match Lights
Bulb Photography is simply known as Long Exposure Photography wherein the lens of the camera is open for  long seconds while the shutter release is pressed, capturing images that cannot be seen by a naked eye.

The photo above was taken during my Basic Photography Workshop with Ruston Banal. We were in a dark classroom, and we're given a chance to capture the lighted match he was holding. He let us counted in our mind before we released the shutter bug. (I counted for 15 seconds).

Manual     1/60       F5.6       ISO800     55mm

My shot isn't that perfect, but I got "good" praise from our intructor :)

  1. Great job on the technique. Love the photo.

  2. I love the effect of long exposures! Great job on yours! :)
