Food Tour: Aling Naty's Cabalen Food

We had the chance to have Kapangpangan Taste at Mall of Asia during school's field trip in Pasay City. First we had the sinigang soup (sour soup made from tamarind base) and drunken shrimp for our appetizer.

The famous Cabalen Sisig is the best seller in this restaurant, and I enjoyed the soft grilles squid stuffed with onion and tomatoes.

What about this Crispy Pata (Crispy Pork) that made us stuffed. Many thanks to my student for sharing her friend's restaurant right infront of SM Hypermarket in Mall of Asia.

Three Days in Bohol

Welcome to Tagbilaran City
The City of Friendship
Bohol is not only known for Blood Compact but also known to its Chocolate Hills and Tarsier. Actually, the place is very clean and luscious greens all over. They also have man-made forest, cleanest port, and white sand beach in Panglao Island. There are so much activities to do in one day, like we did.
Welcome to Bohol!

Food Tour: Vikings

We left Cebu via Cebu Pacific to Manila and met my bro-in law and his friend. They invited us for Eat All You Can Dinner in Vikings. We're surprised how many people waiting outside to have dinner in this famous restaurant. As soon as we arrived, we immediately went inside, and I was still wondering why we had reservation, only to find out that my bro-in law's friend and the owner are cousins.
There are hundreds of variety of food to choose, but I'm more interested in sushi and sashimi plus more of seafood. Here are some photos I took, enjoy!

Bohol from Above the Sky

It was early morning when we left Manila via Cebu Pacific to Bohol. I was sitting near the window to catch some views of the place using my DSLR. In the photo above, I've noticed some Chocolate Hills, lots of coconut trees, and other luscious trees.

M is for Many, Many, Mango

I had the chance to visit Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines with my co-office workers. We had the great time picking green mangoes from their farm. These mangoes are ready to harvest, place in boxes, and in few days they will turn yellow.

Faces of Penance

"We do not have the right to judge them whatever their intentions are, if they choose to inflict pains in their bodies (Self Flagerration). Everyone has the freedom to express their sacrifices."

Photos below are some faces doing penance in their own way. Photos speak louder than words, see for yourself.

Food: Green Mango with Anchovies

I was surprised to see my favorite Taiwan's green tea in 7-11 here in the Philippines. If 7-11 in Taiwan sell products produced locally, here in my country it's the same thing like this green mango dipped in sauteed bagoong (anchovy). It's very famous specially in summer.

Food: C2 Restaurant at Tagaytay

Dinner at Annie's/ C2 Restaurant of The Summit Ridge Hotel in Tagaytay. The place has its own buffet that night but we preferred to order. Most of the food we had were Filipino Cuisine with a twist. Instead of usual sauteing, everything was cooked and plated in different ways. Below are the food in caption.

Three Days in Tagaytay

Long weekend in Tagaytay, after 10 years the last I was here. The place changes a lot, more places to visit, more hotels to stay, and more shopping malls to shop.

We just stayed in the hotel most of the time because of rainy weather, and hop to one place to another for food trip.

Below are pictures that summarized our three days vacation:
