Food: Tupig of Pangasinan

Tupig is made of glutinous rice and grated young coconut wrapped in banana leaves and cooked over charcoal. It's a native snacks in Pangasinan.

I tried Tupig in different part of Pangasinan, and the best one is the Tupig of Manaoag as shown in this photo.

  6. I've only tasted tupig from Alaminos, Pangasinan. I've seen, however, a tupig stall at the entrance of the bus terminal at Dao, Pampanga, but didn't get a chance to buy some.

Kamoteng kahoy was top on my list; nowadays, it's tupig!
